Festival of Wonder has recently published a book of 'Moments of Wonder' in cooperation with Silkeborg Library's Publisher

Moments of Wonder is an art book with fantastic photographs by Peter Birk of the best puppet theatres in the world, all of which have performed at Festival of Wonder in either 2007 or 2009.

Peter Birk has managed to capture fleeting moments of puppetry with his photographs, making us feel the movement of the performances. There are no staged pictures, only the real thing - live, moving theatre.

Out of more than 4,000 pictures, an editorial committee comprising Peter Birk, Per Hofman Hansen and Ulla Dengsøe, has chosen the best of the best.

Moments of Wonder is an art book with fantastic photographs by Peter Birk of the best puppet theatres in the world, all of which have performed at Festival of Wonder in either 2007 or 2009 Besides the photographs, the book includes essays by two of the most interesting names in this genre right now, Neville Tranter of Stuffed Puppettheatre, Holland and Matej Forman of Forman Brothers Theatre in Prague. There are also notes from Peter Birk and Ulla Dengsøe, artistic director of Festival of Wonder.

At the end of the book is a list of all the theatres and performances which have been guests at Festival of Wonder during the last 25 years.

The book has an impressive format, 30 x 30 cm., filled with luxurious photographs, some of them on double pages. See a collage of some of the pictures on this page.
The price of the book is DKr 245. Postage within Denmark is DKr 65.75 extra, making the final price DKr 310.75.
